It is with a very heavy heart that we have to announce the death of Christine Mathers, a long time helper and friend of VMFC.

Christine, Mum to Vauxhall committee member Tom and daughter Sarah, fell down the stairs at home on Thursday evening and was pronounced died by the medical team who attended.  Tom and Sarah only lost their Dad Derek, another former Vauxhall committee member, a couple of years ago after a severe heart attack.

Christine was a lovely engaging woman and will be very must missed by everyone at VMFC.  Our condolences go to Tom and Sarah at this very difficult time.
