Club Statement: Welcome Andy Cass

Vauxhall Motors Football Club are delighted to announce the appointment of Andy Cass as the Vauxhall Motors FC Reserve Team Manager.

Andy was chosen by the committee as the best man for the job, with a wealth of experience, with the latter being as manager of Heswall FC, where his side won the West Cheshire Bowl and were promoted to West Cheshire First Division, finishing 5th, in his four years of managing the Wirral based side.

We’re delighted to welcome Andy to the club, and can’t wait for the 2022/23 season, with many Youth Team Players pushing into the Reserve side, and those from the Reserves pushing into Mick McGraa’s First Team.

Andy said, “I’m delighted to have been asked to join Vauxhall Motors as Reserve Team Manager. The club is on another level and has huge ambition. I’m really excited by the challenge and can’t wait to get stuck in.”

A spoken interview with Andy will be available on the ‘Motors Mouth’ Podcast next month.

The committee would like to give thanks to Josh Walsh and James Jaggard for their contribution and support with managing the Reserves through the second half of last season, and we wish them luck with their new venture, managing the under 18’s in the West Cheshire.
