Motors host Trafford in penultimate home game

By Ethan Hoijord

Vauxhall Motors are back in action this Saturday afternoon as they play host to relegation threatened Trafford.

The Motormen followed up their 3-2 win on Good Friday, at home to Kidsgrove Athletic, with a narrow defeat at Widnes on Easter Monday.

However, new recruit Kevin Ellison’s brace-scoring performance against The Grove is still fresh in the memory of Motors fans who will be hoping that they can have a good end to a season that has brought many challenges including Will Jones’ winning goal for Widnes at The DCBL Halton Stadium.

Trafford are in a battle for the drop with Hednesford Town as 1874 Northwich’s relegation was confirmed following their loss on Monday, thus they will provide a strong test at The VanEupen Arena.

All support is greatly appreciated thus we look forward to seeing you in The Port!
