‘It’s the same old story at the moment, we don’t start very well, concede a very sloppy goal and give ourselves too much to do’.

‘Credit to Charnock they worked hard and deserved to be leading at half time. It was a screaming match at the break’.

‘We were the better team in the second half, got the equaliser and had some half chances’.

‘I’m saying it’s a point gained, against a good side Charnock’.

The hosts played well in the second half, creating many goalscoring opportunities and looking to find the winner. Focusing on the final result, Mick commented:

‘It was frustrating that we couldn’t take more than one of our chances and go on to win the game, but I think a draw is a fair result’.

The Motormen are next in action when they travel to Congleton next weekend.

Looking ahead to the game, Mick said:

‘Every game is important, Congleton are a big, physical side and their on a crest of a wave after doing well in the FA Vase, so it’ll be good, tough game’.
