Motors face Hanley Town at VanEupen Arena

Vauxhall Motors play host to Hanley Town on Saturday afternoon, following on from their narrow win against Trafford last time out.

It will be new manager Danny Holmes’ third game in the Ellesmere Port dugout, picking up four home points so far in games against high-flying Northern Premier League Division One West sides.

On Remembrance Day, a hour before the game in Urmston – which was won with Ben Holmes’ first half strike, the signing of forward Will Dunne was announced following Michael Burkey’s departure to former manager Mick McGraa’s Bootle.

Dunne impressed in the limited time he had on the pitch and will again be available for selection. However, after worryingly going off early, striker Lewis Buckley may be out with a sustained injury.

Hanley town are placed 12th, at the time of writing, after picking up 17 points from 13 games and will aim to use their experience of the division to climb higher up the table this weekend.
