Motors host Charnock Richard

After getting back to winning ways with a 2-0 victory at home to Barnoldswick Town, Vauxhall Motors host Charnock Richard at The VanEupen Arena this Saturday.

It was important for The Motormen to get the three points, having fallen to second with two defeats in their most recent outings, as Conor Harwood and Michael Burkey netted.

However, Charnock will provide a threat when they travel to Ellesmere Port as the gritty Chorley based side beat their opponents 2-0 in the reverse fixture earlier in the campaign.

Formed: 1955 after the original side, formed in 1933, folded.

Manager: Ryan Donnellan who took over the first team in 2019 after Andy Westwell stepped down after 18 years in the role. Donnellan had previously been successful for the club’s reserves side.
