Motors look to secure unbeaten January in NWCFL at Ashton

Back on UK soil, after an emphatic 3-0 away victory on The Isle Of Man, Mick McGraa’s Vauxhall Motors travel to Ashton Athletic on Saturday.

Currently placed 22nd, picking up a total of eight points in 24 games, Jay Foulds’ Ashton have had a poor start to the 2022-23 campaign.

The Motormen, top of the NWCFL Premier Division by five points, will look to provide a further challenge to a side who have failed to win any of eight games at their home ground, Brocstedes Park.

Manager:
Jay Foulds was appointed as manager ten years ago. He was previously the assistant at Wigan Robin Park.

Top scorer:
Zach Conway (5 goals in 21 appearances). However, three of his teammates have netted four.
