Motors on the road at Trafford

Vauxhall Motors are back in action this Saturday afternoon as they travel to Trafford.

The Motormen’s scheduled game last weekend, at home to Mossley, was postponed due to torrential rain hitting the area late into the week.

Thus, Danny Holmes’ side will be coming into the fixture on the back of a three-all draw against Leek Town which followed an incredible win against Clitheroe in the new manager’s first game in charge.

Having ten days without a game will have left the Tranmere legend with a good period of time to implement his style of play on to his team in training.

This is something that would have been cherished by Holmes as he admitted to ‘spending time in bed thinking about the next session and what we’ll do’.

Trafford, nicknamed The North, are positioned towards the bottom of the Northern Premier League Division One West and play their home games at Shawe View, a ground which has a capacity of 1500.

All support for Vauxhall is greatly appreciated thus we look forward to seeing you on the road!
