Motors still searching for first win

By Ethan Hoijord

Vauxhall Motors face Prescot Cables on Tuesday night at The VanEupen Arena as they search for their first league win of the season.

It has been a frustrating campaign for Mick McGraa’s men so far as they have failed to win any of their opening two fixtures, starting with a two-all draw at home to Witton Albion.

Their most recent outing brought a 3-0 defeat at Nantwich Town.

However, with a week without a game and this summer’s promotion still fresh in the mind, the players will be of the belief that they can turn things around as they have the talent and confidence to do so.

Prescot are the next opponents and provide a great test after finishing ninth last season, showing that they possess the high level of quality needed for this division.

All support for The Motormen is appreciated thus we look forward to seeing you in Ellesmere Port!
