Motors take on Avro under the lights

By Ethan Hoijord

Vauxhall Motors will look to claim their second consecutive victory as they play host to Avro on Tuesday night.

Danny Holmes’ side picked up their first three points of 2024 with a 3-1 win against 1874 Northwich last time out as the scheduled trip to Hednesford Town, on Saturday afternoon, was postponed.

Connor Rankin netted twice against 1874 as Jay Harvey put the hosts in the lead immediately after the break.

Holmes’ side will be fresh and ready to face an Avro side they have not come up against since April last year, after being crowned league champions.

As always, your support is greatly appreciated thus we look forward to seeing you in the Port!
