Old faces visit Ellesmere Port as Motors face Bootle

By Ethan Hoijord

Danny Holmes’ Vauxhall will look to end their five game winless run as they play host to former promotion winning boss Mick McGraa’s Bootle on Saturday afternoon.

It has been a tough period of time for Holmes’ men. Runcorn Linnets ran out 4-2 winners at the VanEupen Arena last weekend.

Vauxhall put up a good fight against the third placed outfit and were close to picking up a point as creative midfielder Jordan Deer netted late on.

However, the visitors top scorer Oliver Molloy added to his tally before full-back Jason Akiotu was dismissed.

Bootle will provide a great challenge as they have their eyes set on play-offs.

All support for The Motors is greatly appreciated thus we look forward to seeing you at the match!
