Chris Bedford steps down as Director of Women’s Football

Vauxhall Motors Football Club can confirm that Chris Bedford has stepped down as Women’s Director of Football.

Bedford joined the club four years ago, taking over as Director of Football for the Women’s Section, and since has grown the section by over 100% - with the amount of girls teams in the youth section doubling.

Alongside this growth, the Women’s Section launched a Women’s First Team for the first time since 2014 - and has competed in the Cheshire Women’s and Youth League, finishing fourth this season gone.

Chris has laid down the foundations and a platform for the club to build on, and VMFC will forever be grateful for the work that he has done over recent years.

We wish Chris all the very best for the future, and he will always be welcome at Vauxhall Motors FC.
