Chris Herbert announced as new Vauxhall Motors manager
Former 1874 manager to take the helm at the Premier Jet Stadium
Vauxhall Motors FC is delighted to announce the appointment of Chris Herbert as First Team Manager.
Chris joins us from 1874 Northwich where he recently won promoted to the NPL, and has previously managed in Wales. He was also Scout for Salford City, Nottingham Forest and Assistant Manager at Chester FC.
Chris’ experience, leadership qualities, and footballing philosophy align strongly with the club’s long-term ambitions.
The appointment has been completed well in advance of the start of preseason preparations, ensuring stability and continuity across all football operations. This timing allows the manager and coaching staff to work closely with the club’s football department on squad planning, recruitment, and preparation for the upcoming campaign.
We are delighted for Chris to join us at the Premier Jet Stadium and can’t wait for the future!
