Danny Holmes signs new contract with Vauxhall Motors FC

Vauxhall Motors FC is delighted to announce that Danny Holmes has signed a new contract to extend his commitment with the club.

The new deal means that the First Team manager will extend his time at the Premier Jet Stadium beyond the expiry of his previous deal which was set to expire this summer.

First Team Staff Glenn Rule, Jason Aldcroft, Tommy Holmes, Paul Singer, John Eccles and Tom Raybould have all also put pen to paper in a new deal for the 26/27 season, showing their dedication to the club as they have done since Holmes and his backroom staff were appointed in October 2023.

Holmes said, “I’m delighted to sign my new contract. I’m really excited about the season ahead, we have spoken to numerous players already, trying to strengthen an already great group - so hopefully, we can see more fans come along to the games and really build the club with the exciting future that we have ahead of us.”

A Vauxhall Motors FC spokesperson said, “We’re delighted that Danny and all of his staff have committed to the club with new deals. Danny has brought in a level of professionalism and taken the club to a new level since taking over in October 2023."

“After taking over in difficult circumstances, Danny steered the club away from relegation in its first season back in the NPL West, before a monumental season reaching the Play-Off Semi Final in 2024/25.” 

"Last season, we fell slightly short but the success that Danny has achieved here, the new levels that he has taken the First Team to, and the standards that he sets is something that everyone here admires. We can’t wait for next season."
