John Parker previews our final away day of the season at Mossley

Setting the Scene
Two games left. No margin for error.

We make the trip to Mossley AFC this weekend knowing exactly what’s required. Results haven’t gone our way in recent matches, and while the playoff picture may no longer be fully in our hands, the task remains clear; win both of our remaining games and give ourselves every possible chance.

There’s no hiding from the situation. It’s been a difficult run. But the opportunity is still there, however narrow it may be.

Now it’s about belief, character, and finding a way when it matters most.

A Bit About the Club
Mossley AFC are a well-established side with a strong identity, particularly on home soil where they’re known to be competitive and difficult to play against.

Seel Park is a ground that can generate a real atmosphere, and Mossley will be looking to use that to their advantage as they aim to finish their season strongly.

Man in Charge
Alex Craddock stepped up into the role at Mossley AFC following a spell as first team coach, succeeding David Fish.

He knows the group well and has continued to build on the foundations already in place, with his side remaining competitive and organised in recent weeks.

One to Watch
Attacker Oumar Camara is a key threat for Mossley AFC.

Direct, quick and always looking to make things happen in the final third, Camara is capable of turning a game in an instant. Whether it’s driving at defenders or finding space in dangerous areas, he’s a player who demands attention throughout.

In Summary
It comes down to this.

Two games. Six points. Nothing less.

The situation may not be entirely in our hands, but that doesn’t change the responsibility. We have to do our job and we have to do it now.

Form hasn’t been where we want it. Performances haven’t hit the levels we know we’re capable of. But seasons aren’t defined by comfort, they’re defined by how you respond when it gets tough.

This is that moment.

And we don’t do it alone.

Now, more than ever, we need the supporters behind us. Your energy, your voice, your belief; it can lift, it can drive, it can make the difference when it matters most.

The opportunity is still there.

Now it’s about taking it.
